He locks you up for a few days while sucking your blood non stop in order to quench his thirst but nothing works. He then chains you in the Sakamaki household’s torture chamber.

The situation turns crazy and it ends with Azusa setting Teddy on fire which causes Kanato to go berserk. The following day when Azusa tries to suck your blood in school, Kanato comes in raging and punches the living hell out of him. Finally, after tanking all his shit and tantrums, you decide to give up and leave with Azusa only to be stopped by a raging Kanato. The fight continues between Kanato and Azusa with you being stuck in between and Kanato also starts to experience the awakening of Adam where he can’t stop himself from wanting to suck your blood. But, our dear Kanato believes that it was a gift from Cordelia and sees it as the only gift and form of affection he really ever received from his mom. She usually brushes him off easily and goes on to hang out with those men who adore her so much because of her status. It’s more like one of those gifts from people whom she fooled around with but oh wells… Basically, Kanato has always tried to get her attention be it by cutting himself on purpose or by doing other weird stuff but to no avail. I’m sure you already know by now, especially those who played Haunted Dark Bridal that Teddy is of utmost importance to him because it was given by his mom, Cordelia.

However, in this game, it actually explains the origins of Kanato’s Teddy. (SERIOUSLY, Just because you’re ‘his’ doesn’t mean that you can’t talk to anyone (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻) He even uses his tsukaima to create a Teddy known as ‘Daddy’ which he uses to stalk your movements all the time so Kanato knows exactly where the hell you are and what the hell you’re doing. For example, he loves to take his anger out on everything and because you’re a living thing and is able to react, he directs his anger at you and BLAMES you instead D: Azusa on the other hand, tries very hard to attain your blood but every time he talks to you, Kanato appears out of nowhere and directs all his rage at you. And when I say alot, I REALLY MEAN IT LOL. Since Kanato is a 病んでるツンヤン系ドS (which sorta means sickly, half tsundere and half yandere sadistic type), you really need to have alot of patience when dealing with him.

Interaction with the heroine aka YOU and Azusa But HEY Kanato fans, he’s wearing specs this time and it definitely suits him XD Initially it was alright but after a while, all the crying and tantrum-throwing just proved too much for me to actually enjoy his route thoroughly. ヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ I didn’t like it that the writers had to make him look like a desperate attention seeker who wants everything for himself and would come crying to you all the time because of something.

Kanato’s route in Haunted Dark Bridal was actually quite enjoyable for me but here, he’s just acting like a spoiled brat!!
